Influenţa schemei de plantare şi a fazei de vegetaţie asupra componenţei chimice a plantelor de silfia

The work is aimed at studying the various planting schedules and phases of vegetation of the new fodder plant that is non-traditional for the Republic of Moldova and named Silfia or Silphium perfoliatum. The obtained results demonstrate that the chemical composition of this plant is in a higher dependence during the vegetative stage than on the density of plants on a unit of land. For example, the content of crude protein in the absolutely dry material has decreased from the budding stage until the beginning of flowering in all the variations of the density of 62.7113,8%, and under the influence of using technology of cultivation it was varied relatively in the limits of only 7-20%.
