Рост и плодоношение плодовых культур взаимосвязаны с биотическими и абиотическими условиями природной среды, такими как водный, тепловой и питательный режимы в почве, непрерывно изменяющиеся в пространстве и времени. При этом основным лимитирующим фактором в лесостепной зоне Алтая является влагосодержание в почвенном профиле, поскольку растения зачастую испытывают дефицит увлажнения. Исследования поведены в течение вегетационных периодов 2012-2014 гг. на территории Алтайского края. Объект исследований: чернозем выщелоченный среднесуглинистый под насаждениями яблонь и груш. Запасы продуктивной влаги в яблоневом саду в апреле 2012 г. были удовлетворительными. В мае и в течение лета они снизились до нуля, поэтому растения в течение вегетации испытывали водное голодание. Под грушей в начале вегетации ПЗВ оказались выше, чем под яблоней, но с июня по август они также снижались. В результате поливные нормы оказались такими же, что и под яблонями. Лето 2013 г. было дождливым, что отразилось на водных ресурсах в толще чернозема. При этом дефицит продуктивного запаса влаги (ПЗВ) не превышал 85 мм в июне-июле, а в остальные сроки не поднимался выше 50 мм. В грушевом саду влагозапасы не опускались ниже 30 мм. В метровой толще чернозема в апреле 2012 г. полезные запасы влаги под яблоней соответствовали очень хорошему уровню. В июне-июле влагосодержание опустились ниже ВЗ. Под насаждениями груш весной ПЗВ относились к разряду удовлетворительных. В последующие месяцы возник острый дефицит влаги вплоть до осени. В 2013 г. ПЗВ в яблоневом саду не превышали 50 мм в летнее время. Под грушами в мае они достигали даже 118 мм, но впоследствии снизились до 30 мм, что также требовало орошения. Поскольку 2014 г. был засушливым, то водная обстановка в метровом слое чернозема оказалась катастрофической.

The growth and fruiting of fruit crops is interconnected with the biotic and abiotic conditions of the natural environment as water, heat and nutritional regimes in the soil which continuously change in space and time. The main limiting factor in the forest-steppe zone of the Altai Region is the moisture content in the soil profile since plants often suffer from moisture deficit. The studies were carried out during the growing seasons of 2012-2014 on the territory of the Altai Territory. Object of research: leached medium loamy chernozem under apple and pear plantations. The available soil moisture (ASM) storage in the apple orchard in April 2012 was satisfactory. In May and in the summer, they dropped to zero, so the plants suffered from water hunger during the growing season. Under pears, at the beginning of the growing season, the ASM turned out to be higher than under the apple trees, but from June to August they also decreased. As a result, the irrigation rates were the same as for the apple trees. The summer of 2013 was rainy and that affected the water resources in the chernozem layer. At the same time, the ASM deficit did not exceed 85 mm in June and July, and in the remaining periods did not rise above 50 mm. In the pear orchard, the moisture storage did not fall below 30 mm. In one-meter chernozem layer in April 2012, the available soil moisture storage under the apple trees corresponded to a very good level. In June and July, the moisture content dropped below the wilting moisture. In spring, the ASM under the pear plantations were considered satisfactory. On the following months, a severe moisture deficit arose until autumn. In 2013, the ASM in the apple orchard did not exceed 50 mm in summer. Under the pears, in May they even reached 118 mm, but then dropped to 30 mm and that also required irrigation. Since the season of 2014 was an arid one, the water situation in one-meter layer of chernozem turned out to be disastrous.
