English. The main problems that face a scientific library in creating an electronic library are considered on the example of the Central Scientific Agricultural Library. Methodical, organizational/technological, legal, technical problems have been identified. Legal problems are associated with the establishment of legal status of a document and identification of a form of access to it in an electronic library. They occur every time when a new document is included. Technical problems are associated with technical support to the process of creating an electronic copy of document: equipment, premises, etc.

Выделены методические, организационно-технологические, правовые, технические проблемы в Центральной научной сельскохозяйственной библиотеке. Правовые проблемы связаны с определением правового статуса документа и формы доступа к нему в электронной библиотеке. Они возникают каждый раз при включении нового документа. Технические проблемы связаны с обеспечением процесса созда- ния электронной копии документа: оборудование, помещение и т. п.
