Regional climate changes and the technology of corn cultivation for grain in the Southern Urals | Региональные изменения климата и технология выращивания кукурузы на зерно на Южном Урале

English. The purpose of the research is to analyze long-term trends in climate change and variation of weather conditions in the Southern Urals to assess their impact on the choice of hybrids, the main elements of cultivation technology and the productivity of corn for grain. The analysis of the variation of weather conditions was carried out for the period from 1940 to 2020 using the data of the Shatrovo and Kurgan weather stations (northern and southern forest-steppe zones) in the Kurgan region, and the weather station of the village of Bredy (steppe zone) in the Chelyabinsk region. The initial data on the yield and harvest moisture content in corn grain were obtained in the hybrid provenance trials conducted in 1984-2020. According to the results of multiple regression analysis under the conditions of the Southern Urals, corn yield is due to the interaction of the sums of active temperatures above +10 deg. C and precipitation amount for the period from May to August. Long-term changes in these indicators are manifested in the form of an annual increase in the sum of temperatures of above +10 deg. C on average by 0.87 deg. C in the northern forest-steppe, by 0.9 deg. C in the southern forest-steppe and by 1.13 deg. C in the steppe zones; the amount of precipitation annually increase by 0.16, 0.18 and 0.21 mm, respectively. The consequence of the revealed trends is an annual increase in grain yield on average by 0.02 t/ha and a decrease in its harvest moisture content by 0.03%. Statistical lack of evidentiary support of linear trends in the sums of active temperatures, precipitation, yield and moisture of grain allows concluding that the previous technological recommendations remain relevant for the entire territory of the region. The revealed trends are to be periodically clarified with reference to the further development of the dynamics of climate change.

Цель исследования - анализ многолетних тенденций изменения климата и варьирования погодных условий Южного Урала для оценки их влияния на выбор гибридов, основные элементы технологии возделывания и продуктивность кукурузы на зерно. Выполнен анализ варьирования метеоусловий по данным метеостанций Шатрово и Курган (северная и южная лесостепная зоны) Курганской области и метеостанции села Бреды (степная зона) Челябинской области за период с 1940 по 2020 гг. Исходные данные по урожайности и уборочной влажности зерна кукурузы получены в экологическом испытании гибридов в 1984–2020 гг. По результатам множественного регрессионного анализа в условиях Южного Урала урожайность кукурузы обусловлена взаимодействием сумм активных температур выше +10 град. С и осадков за май–август. Многолетние изменения величин этих показателей проявляются в виде ежегодного прироста суммы температур выше +10 град. С в северной лесостепной в среднем на 0,87 град. С, в южной лесостепной – на 0,90 град. С, в степной зоне – на 1,13 град. С, суммы осадков – соответственно на 0,16, 0,18 и 0,21 мм. Следствие выявленных тенденций – увеличение урожайности зерна в среднем на 0,02 т/га и снижение его уборочной влажности на 0,03% в год. Статистическая недоказанность линейных трендов сумм активных температур осадков, урожайности и влажности зерна позволяет заключить, что для всей территории региона остаются актуальными прежние технологические рекомендации. Выявленные тенденции подлежат периодическому уточнению с учетом дальнейшего развития динамики климатических изменений.
