A STUDY OF THE SOURCE MATERIAL OF SPRING BARLEY COLLECTION OF THE INSTITUTE OF PLANT INDUSTRY IN CENTRAL YAKUTIA

Russian. The article presents the results of the study of yield and its stability, resistance to lodging, diseases. Detailed research of the spring barley collection of the world gene pool provides an opportunity to create a rich source of material for selection. During the years of research (2018-2020) 147 samples were studied in collection nurseries. According to the data of the collection nursery, the barley samples: Buyan (nutans), Krasnoyarsky 91 (pallidum), Thaler (rikotense), Odon (nutans), Lipen (rikotense) were referred to the most early maturing (vegetation period of 68-69 days). The highest productive tillering ability (2.9-5.8 productive stems) had the following samples: Olenek (nutans), Medicum 11 (medicum), Odon (nutans), Thaler (rikotense), Lipen (rikotense), Krasnoyarsk 91 (pallidum).
