THE EFFECT OF MEGALAK ON BIOCHEMICAL AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF COWS

Russian. The article examines the effect of the protected fat "Megalak" on the biochemical and productive parameters of lactating cows. Morphological and biochemical indices of blood are studied. Particular attention is paid to the milk productivity of cows. The aim of the research was to study the influence of the feed additive "Megalak" in cows' diets during the period of milking. The research procedure was to divide the milking cows into three groups of 10 cows each taking into account their age, body weight, date of the last calving, milk yield, protein and fat content in milk. It was established that the introduction of the protected fat "Megalak" in the amount of 400 g per head per day into the ration of cows resulted in the increase of an average daily milk yield by 6.25% and milk fat content in milk – by 9.12%. The average daily milk yield when feeding cows with Megalac at a dose of 350 g per head per day increased by 4.6%, milk fat increased by 5.3% relative to the control.
