Influence of introduction of a conifer-vitamin feed supplement to seed bull diet on semen quality, biochemical and morphological blood indices | Влияние введения в рацион племенных быков хвойно-витаминной кормовой добавки на качество спермопродукции, биохимические и морфологические показатели крови

English. To improve the feed nutritional value, feed supplements may be included in the diet of seed bulls. One of these is a conifer-vitamin containing feed supplement. The research goal was to study the effect of the conifer-vitamin feed supplement on semen quality and blood indices of seed bulls. The research was carried out in one of the cattle breeding enterprises situated in the Altai Region. Two groups by 6 Simmental seed bulls were composed. The first group was the control and received the standard diet. The second group was the trial group; the conifer-vitamin feed supplement in the amount of 500 g per head per day was added to their standard diet. The experiment lasted 2 months. At the beginning of the experiment, the differences in semen indices were within 5%. During the research, the seed bulls received a balanced diet. In terms of the nutritional value, the difference of the diets of the trial and control groups did not exceed 5%. In 2 months from the introduction of the conifer-vitamin feed supplement, the bulls of the trial group outperformed the control group in terms of the following indices: ejaculate number - by 15.5%; ejaculate volume - by 16.4%; sperm motility - by 8.2%; sperm concentration - by 10.1%; sperm amount good for insemination - by 35.8%. The largest amount of rejected sperm was from the bulls of the control group (1.13 mL), the difference with the trial group was 61.1%. During the experiment, the number of frozen semen doses from the seed bulls of the trial group was by 23.5% more than that from the control group. All blood indices in the bulls of the control and trial groups were within the physiological range. Thus, the inclusion of the conifer-vitamin feed supplement in seed bull diet has a positive effect on their semen production and blood values.

Russian. Для улучшения полноценного кормления племенных быков в рацион можно вводить кормовые добавки. Одной из таких является хвойно-витаминная кормовая добавка. Цель исследований - изучение влияния хвойно-витаминной кормовой добавки на качество спермопродукции и показатели крови племенных быков. Исследования проведены в одном из племенных предприятий Алтайского края. Быки-производители симментальской породы были сформированы в 2 группы, по 6 гол. в каждой. Первая группа была контрольной и получала основной рацион. Вторая группа являлась опытной, где дополнительно в основной рацион ввели 500 г на голову в сутки хвойно-витаминной кормовой добавки. Опыт проводили в течение 2-х мес. В начале опыта различия по показателям спермопродукции не превышали 5%. В период проведения исследований быки-производители получали сбалансированный рацион. По всем питательным веществам разница в рационах быков опытной и контрольной групп не превышала 5%. Через 2 мес после включения в рацион хвойно-витаминной кормовой добавки у быков опытной группы по отношению к контрольной увеличилось количество эякулятов на 15,5%, объем эякулята – на 16,4, активность спермиев – на 8,2, концентрация спермиев – на 10,1, количество годной спермопродукции – на 35,8%. Наибольшее количество выбракованной спермы отмечено у быков контрольной группы – 1,13 мл, разница с опытной группой составила 61,1%. За период опыта от производителей опытной группы спермиев было заморожено на 23,5% больше, чем от быков контрольной. Все показатели крови у быков контрольной и опытной групп находились в пределах физиологической нормы. Таким образом, включение в рацион племенных быков хвойно-витаминной кормовой добавки положительно влияет на их спермопродукцию и показатели крови.
