Seeding rates and sowing time influence on the spring wheat grain quality in the Tyva forest-steppe zone conditions | Влияние на качество зерна яровой пшеницы норм высева и сроков посева в условиях лесостепной зоны Республики Тыва

Russian. Цель исследования – изучить влияние норм высева и сроков посева на качество зерна яровой пшеницы в условиях лесостепной зоны Республики Тыва. Исследование проводилось в лесостепной зоне на опытно-экспериментальном участке Тувинского НИИ сельского хозяйства в 2019–2021 гг. Почва участка темно-каштановая, механический состав – легкий суглинок с нейтральной почвенной реакцией pH 7,0. Объект исследования – сорта мягкой яровой пшеницы Алтайская 75 и Новосибирская 31. Стандарт – местный районированный сорт Чагытай. Изучались 2 нормы (3,5 и 4,5 млн всхожих зерен на 1 га) и 2 срока посева (1-й срок – 15 мая, 2-й – 25 мая) яровой пшеницы. Повторность опыта четырехкратная, размещение вариантов рендомизированное. Погодные условия в 2019–2021 гг. отличались достаточной увлажненностью и низким температурным режимом в периоды вегетации растений, суммы активных температур выше 10 град. С были низкие по сравнению с многолетними данными. Установлено, что оптимальный срок посева для среднеспелого сорта Алтайская 75 и среднераннего сорта Новосибирская 31 – третья декада мая; высокая стекловидность и наибольшее содержание клейковины в зерне пшеницы сорта Алтайская 75 – при посеве с нормой высева 3,5 млн всхожих зерен на 1 га, сорта Новосибирская 31 – с нормой высева 4,5 млн. Качественные показатели зерна варьировали в зависимости от метеорологических условий, в 2019 г. стекловидность зерна у всех сортов была выше 60%. В 2019 г. сорт Новосибирская 31 превзошел контроль по натуре зерна на 27 г/л при 1-м сроке посева (начало мая) с нормой 3,5 млн всхожих зерен. Содержание клейковины в зерне у большинства вариантов за 3 года было менее 28%, кроме сорта Алтайская 75, содержание клейковины в зерне которого при норме 3,5 млн всхожих зерен было на уровне контроля 35%.

The research purpose is to study the effect of seeding rates and sowing dates on the quality of spring wheat grain cultivated in the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of the Tyva Republic. The study was carried out in the forest-steppe zone at the experimental site of the Tuva Research Institute of Agriculture in 2019–2021. The soil of the site is dark chestnut, the mechanical composition is light loam with a neutral soil reaction pH 7.0. The object of the study are the soft spring wheat varieties 'Altaiskaya 75' and 'Novosibirskaya 31'. The standard is the local zoned variety 'Chagytai'. We compared two norms (3.5 and 4.5 million germinating grains per 1 ha) and two sowing dates (the first term is May 15, and the second term is May 25) of spring wheat. The trial plots were placed randomly, in fourfold repetition. Weather conditions in 2019–2021 were distinguished by sufficient humidity, and low temperature regime during the plant growing season; the sums of active temperatures above 10 deg. C were low compared to the long-term data. The trial results revealed that the optimal sowing time for the mid-season variety 'Altaiskaya 75' and the mid-early variety 'Novosibirskaya 31' is the third decade of May; high vitreousness and the highest content of gluten in the wheat grain of the 'Altaiskaya 75' variety was obtained when it sown with a seeding rate of 3.5 million germinating grains per 1 ha, of the 'Novosibirskaya 31' variety – with a seeding rate of 4.5 million. Qualitative grain indicators varied in the dependence on weather conditions. In 2019, the grain vitreousness of both varieties was above 60%. In the same year, the variety 'Novosibirskaya 31' surpassed the control in terms of grain bulk density by 27 g/L at the first sowing date (early May) with a norm of 3.5 million germinating grains. The gluten content in the grain obtained in most trial plots was less than 28% averaged for 3 years. The exception is 'Altaiskaya 75' sown at a rate of 3.5 million germinating grains per 1 ha. In this case, the gluten content was at the same level of 35% as obtained in the reference plot.
