Modern approaches to the diagnostics of the severity of bronchopneumonia in calves | Современные подходы к диагностике степени тяжести бронхопневмонии телят

В работе сопоставлены результаты расчета лейкоцитарного индекса интоксикации и цитологических параметров носового и глоточного субстратов для оценки степени адекватности данных критериев при определении тяжести бронхопневмонии у телят. Исследование проводили на одно-трехмесячных телятах черно-пестрой породы в хозяйствах Пермского края. Молодняк разделили на группы: первая была представлена здоровыми телятами, в остальные вошли животные с легкой, средней и тяжелой степенью заболевания. У всех телят определяли клинико-гематологические показатели, производили расчет интегрального индекса интоксикации, микроскопировали носовой и глоточный биоматериал. У животных с легкой степенью заболевания наблюдали увеличение лейкоцитарного индекса интоксикации в 3,9 раза, в рино- и фарингоцитограммах происходило достоверное повышение процента нейтрофилов и уменьшение макрофагов относительно показателей телят контрольной группы. У молодняка, больного бронхопневмонией средней тяжести, отмечено увеличение индекса эндотоксикоза в 7,0 раз. В носовом биоматериале этих телят выявляли повышение доли лимфоцитов в 1,5 раза и нейтрофилов – в 1,3 раза. В фарингеальной слизи происходило снижение процента лимфоцитов в 2,4 раза и повышение нейтрофилов в 1,7 раза. Процентный показатель макрофагов снижался в обоих субстратах по сравнению с данными клинически здоровых животных. У молодняка с тяжелой степенью заболевания увеличивался лейкоцитарный индекс интоксикации в 9,1 раза, а в цитограммах носового и глоточного секретов возрастало число нейтрофилов в 1,4 и 1,9 раза соответственно относительно показателей контрольных телят. Выявлено, что постановка диагноза и оценка степени тяжести бронхопневмонии может осуществляться по клинико-гематологическим данным, расчету индекса интоксикации и подсчету лейкоцитарных клеток в носовом и глоточном секрете. Эти способы являются информативными не только для мониторинга тяжести течения бронхопневмонии, но и эффективности проводимой терапии.

The paper compares the results of calculating the leukocyte index of intoxication and cytological parameters of nasal and pharyngeal substrates to assess the degree of adequacy of these criteria in determining the severity of bronchopneumonia in calves. The study was carried out on one-three-month-old Black-and-White calves in the farms of the Perm Krai. The young animals were divided into groups: the first one was represented by healthy calves, the second included animals with mild, moderate and severe disease. In all calves, clinical and hematological parameters were determined, the integral index of intoxication was calculated, nasal and pharyngeal biomaterial was microscopically examined. In animals with a mild degree of the disease, a 3.9 times increase in the leukocyte index of intoxication was observed, in the rhino- and pharyngocytograms there was a significant increase in the percentage of neutrophils and a decrease in macrophages relative to the indicators of the calves of the control group. In young animals with moderate bronchopneumonia, a 7 times increase in the index of endotoxicosis was noted. In the nasal biomaterial of these calves, a 1.5 times increase in lymphocytes and 1.3 times increase in neutrophils was detected. In the pharyngeal mucus, there was a 2.4 times decrease in lymphocytes and a 1.7 times increase in neutrophils. The percentage of macrophages decreased in both substrates compared with the data of clinically healthy animals. In young animals with a severe degree of the disease, the leukocyte index of intoxication increased 9.1 times, and in the cytograms of nasal and pharyngeal secretions, the number of neutrophils increased 1.4 and 1.9 times, respectively, relative to the indicators of control calves. It has been found that the diagnosis and assessment of the severity of bronchopneumonia can be carried out according to clinical and hematological data, the calculation of the intoxication index and the count of leukocyte cells in the nasal and pharyngeal secretions. These methods are informative not only for monitoring the severity of bronchopneumonia, but also for the effectiveness of the therapy.
