ANATOMIA EPIDERMEI FRUNZEI LA UNELE SOIURI DE VIŢĂ DE VIE VITIS VINIFERA L.
2008
USM ADMIN
In this paper the anatomy of adaxial and abaxial epidermis of the mature leaf at 15 grapevine sorts of Vitis vinifera L. is described, The adaxial epidermis consists from a row of polygonal cells, compactly arranged near one to other. The adaxial epidermis have no stomata. The abaxial epidermis is formed from basal epidermal cells, stomata, auxiliary cells and protector hairs. The stomatal complex of epidermis is of the actinocytic type and it is specific for the studied sorts. The values of 7 biometric characters of the leaf epidermis are calculated. The mean density of leaf stomata characterizes every studied grapevine sort and varies from 139.01 stomata mm2 at the sort Babeasca, to the 178.87 stomata mm2 in the sort “Coarna neagră” (Black Cornel). The smaller density of stomata and smaller density of adaxial epidermal cells and larger middle area of stomata and adaxial cells reveal more drought-resistant grapevine sorts.
