1982
Thiphawan Atthacharusit
Softwood and semi-hardwood stem cuttings of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh.) were collected from Kampangsean campus, Kasetsart University, Nakhom Pathom. They were propagated in mist block at the Department of Horticulture August 21, 1981 to October 9, 1981. They were prepared and rooted in three rooting media : sand, rice husk charcoal, and 1:1 ratio of sand and rice husk charcoal. The results showed that semi-hard wood cuttings gave high rooting ability when the media were sand and rice husk charcoal. Softwood cuttings which rooted in 1: ratio of sand and rice husk charcoal gave the same result while softwood cuttings gave the lowest rooting ability when they rooted in rice husk charcoal media
