Schistosomiasis as a disease entity is chronic and debilitating and it is caused by small digenetic trematodes belonging to the family Schistosomatidae. This is a very important parasitic disease of man and animals in scattered but somewhat localized geographical regions of the world. A review on animal schistosomiasis among domestic animals is hereby presented
