Re-esterification of the highly saturated fatty acids with glycerols improved the drying property of lumbang oil with an increase of 25-30 iodine number units. Studies show that 91-96% triglycerides reconversion could be attained based on 82% triglyceride of the original oil. The optimum conditions for the laboratory re-esterification of the unsaturated lumbang oil fatty acids have been established
