Clean pigs exposed to sick ones infected with the Cameroon isolate of African Swine Fever (ASF) virus were found to be infected within 2-6 hours through contact transmission. Infection was observed as early as 2 hours after mixing recipients with donor pigs but the minimum exposure time increased between 2-6 hours when they were separated by bars and wire mesh
