Studies on nutrient requirement of Chrysanthemum indicum Cv. Co.1

In order to study the effect of five levels of N (0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 g/m2), four levels of P (0, 10, 20 and 40 g/m2) and a constant level of K (20 g/m2) along with 5 kg of FYM on growth, flowering and yield of Co.1 chrysanthemum an experiment was conducted for two years at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The number of branches, number of flowers per plant and yield were significantly increased under N20P20K20 levels of fertilizer application. This works out to 50 t FYM, 200 kg N, 200 kg P and 200 kg K per ha. There were also significant differences with different NPK combinations
