Study on phosphorus uptake in some Iraqi soils

This study was carried out to evaluate corn plant efficiency for the uptake of applied phosphorus in four soil samples which differ in their physical and chemical properties and in their P-adsorption. It was concluded that P-uptake by corn plant differ by different soils. Lime content, clay content and organic matter content were the main factors affecting plant efficiency to take up phosphorus.
