Epidemiology and morphological study on sarcoptic mange in camels

The prevalence and seasonal distribution of mange in camels was investigated. Results showed that 15.8 percent of the animals examined were infected with mites Sarcoptes scabiei var. cameli. Infection rate was higher during winter months. The neck was the most common site of infection
