Seed inoculation with or without phosphorus improved the growth of soybeans. Seed inoculation plus 90 kg P per hectare however, was the best treatment as it significantly increased the number of pods by 22.5%; straw weight by 123.1% yield per plot by 215% and the number of nodules by 133.7%. The phosphorus content of the stem, leaves, pods and nitrogen content in the leaves significantly differed among treatments
