Efficacy of previous (66-752) fungicide against damping-off disease caused by Pythium debaryanum (Hesse.) on cucumber [Philippines]
1984
Gozum, A.R.
Previous (66-752) fungicide had significantly reduced the percentage of infected cucumber seedlings that emerged 7 days to 21 days after planting. Concentration at 0.10% and 0.07% gave highly significant protection to the plants in comparison with the other treatments used both in soil drench and seed soak methods of application. Between the two methods of application, seed soak had an economic advantage over the drench method. The damping-off organism, Pythium debaryanum (Hesse.) produced long and slender stalks at one to six antheridia per cogonium
