Application of organic matter gave favorable effect on the growth and yield of eggplant. Application of 100 kg N/ha irrespective of the source increased the diameter of the fruits by 3.4% and the average number of fruits by 23.72% over the control plants. Application of 100 kg N/ha (Sagana 100) gave the most favorable effect which increased by 30.5% over the control
