Egg production and egg quality of quails (Coturnix coturnix) fed with diets containing different levels of calcium and phosphorus [Philippines]
1984
Baldedora, S.Y.
Result showed no significant differences in egg production and feed conversion efficiency. Similarly, there were no significant differences in egg weight and shell thickness. However, different levels of calcium and phosphorus significantly influenced feed consumption on the birds. Higher mortality was observed in quails feed with 2% calcium and 90% phosphorus diet. This mortality difference was not significant. Level of 2% calcium and 90% phosphorus was considered optimum for egg production and egg quality of quails
