Technical equipment and efficiency of dairy farms

At present there are 215 industrial farms for dairy cows in Poland. Buildings, microclimate within buildings, feeding, milking and dung removal were estimated. The best results were found on a farm on which feed trailer, Unilactor-type milking unit, dung scraper and silo with movable frame were used. The worst conditions for cows were found on farm on which loose-housing system was used
