A model of animal production for farms on light soils was constructed depending on a various percentage of permanent grasslands in their area of agricultural lands. Coverage of barnyard manure needs and utilization of feeds directly produced in the farm were the guiding principles in this case. It can be concluded that in light soils farms it is difficult to cover the feed requirements by feeds produced on arable land only of such1654 a number of animals what is indispensable for the production of the necessary amount of barnyard manure.
