Helminthofauna of the alimentary tract of elks and roe-deer in the Romincka Forest

All the examined animals were infested with different species of the alimentary tract parasites. A special attention was paid to a very high invasion of the following helminths: Bunostomum trigonocephalum, Ostertagia antipini, Spiculopteragia dagestanica and Nematodirella alcidis. The role of the elk in the transmission of the parasites was emphasized
