Elaphostrongylus cervi and Varestrongylus sagittatus larvae were found in deer, Varestrongylus capreoli larvae - in roe-deer and V. capreoli and E. cervi larvae - in elks. The mean extensiveness of the nematode infestation depended on hunting region, parasite species and animal species and ranged from 4.3 to 91.2%
