Level of certain milk components in acute mastitis

Changes in the concentration of lactose, citric acid and pH value in milk from inflammatory quarters were studied. The content of lactose was lower by 77% and the concentration of citric acid by 72%. The content of the compounds returned to their physiological values within 10 days after treatment
