Residues of MCPA in cereals after late application against thistles

In 1985 trials were carried out to study the residue behaviour of MCPA in cereals after a late application against thistles at nine different locations in the Federal Republic of Germany. 28 Days after the application the residues of MCPA in the whole plant are below the limit of 2 mg/kg. At harvest there were no detectable residues in grain except on case (0.02 mg/kg). The maximum residue limit for MCPA in grain is 0.1 mg/kg
