The effects of temperature and fungicide treatments on quality of potato tuber in storage

Weight loss, soluble solid content, carbohydrates content, diseases index, visual quality index and sprouting were determined on Rapan 106 of potato in two kinds of storage (3-8 centigrade, RH=70 percent and 18-23 centigrade, RH=80-95 percent) and three levels of fungicides (0,500 and 1000 ppm benlate). Using cold room was the best for potato storage to prolong storage life and qualities. Fungicide treatments of 0,500 and 1000 ppm benlate were not effective.
