[Application of GnRH-analogues on post-partum reproductive efficiency in dairy cattle]

English. Effect of (GnRH analogue) on post-partum reproductive efficiency in dairy cows. 59 dairy cows from two different farms were divided in two groups of 29 and 30 cows respectively. The 29 cows were treated on day 14 post partum with 20 mcg/head of buserelin, whereas 30 cows (controls) received 5 ml of sterile solution at the same period. Treated animals showed the first oestrus P.P.20 days earlier than controls with a concentration of heats around day 30-40P.P. vs day 70 of the control group. Blood samplets for progesteron test were taken on day 20, 24 and 35P.P
