Risalah ini mengemukakan secara singkat tentang penyebab penyakit ngorok (septicaemia epizootica) yang biasanya menyerang sapi dan kerbau, gejala penyakitnya, serta penanggulangan dan pencegahannya. Penyebabnya adalah bakteri Pasteurella multocida, yang ditularkan melalui kontak langsung atau melalui makanan-minuman, maupun melalui alat-alat yang digunakan, juga melalui kontak air liur, air seni dan kotoran dari ternak yang menderita.
