English. The occurrence of Pratylenchus neglectus is reported from corn fields of the Ferrara area. Plants presented growth retardation and shutted root apexes long term rotations are suggested for the control of this pest

Le piante manifestavano scarso sviluppo vegetativo e numerose radici con l'apice mozzato. Sono consigliati mezzi agronomici di lotta (allargamento delle rotazioni con piante non ospiti)
