In 1983-1985 micro-plot trials in a beet-growing region were performed to study the effect of the morphoregulator Nevirol 60 WP and its combinations with boron (Veborit) and molybdenum concentrates (Molychel) on the seed yield of red clover Kvarta. The Nevirol 60 WP preparation increased the clover seed yield insignificantly, ranging from 8.08 to 15.60 per cent and by its effectiveness, this was identical with the Alar 85 preparation. The mixtures of Nevirol 60 WP with boron and molybdenum concentrates have not manifested significantly better results of the yields in comparison with Nevirol applied independently. The application of morphoregulators was found to be ineffective under extreme precipitation during the seed harvest cut. Of the yield forming components, the Nevirol preparation and its combinations increased the thousand-kernel weight (TKW) most frequently. The germinating capacity of the seeds was not affected.
