Sound nutrition and food decontamination

The important problems of rational nutrition and health were studied in the population. The most conspicuous features of the Czech population's food structure include a high caloric value of the foodstuffs and the problem of contaminants that penetrate into foodstuffs through agricultural raw materials. The different kinds of contaminants, the causes of their spreading and their adverse action on human health are analyzed. Possibilities and ways of countering the aggressive invasion of chemistry in human lives are suggested. These include restructuralization of agricultural production, unified methodical management of the existing inspection authorities and diversification of sectors throughout agriculture and food industry.
