A relationship between phosphorus and organic matter in acid cambisol

Model laboratory trial was performed to study the effect of four agrochemical treatments (addition of macronutrients, trace elements, lightly decomposable source of C-glucose, liming) and their selected combinations on the relations between 26 parameters of soil organic matter and 13 parameters of soil phosphorus in humous horizon HPa (acid cambisols). A close correlation between phosphorus in soil and parameters in the set of treated and untreated variants follows from the comparison of correlation coefficients (these parameters determine the quality and quantity of humus). It was confirmed that dynamics of phosphorus in this soil depend on microbial processes, on transformation of soil organic matter and on humification, that is also on parameters characterizing these processes in the soil organic matter and soil humic substances.
