[Effect of dietary energy and remating interval on rabbit does performance]

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of dietary energy (12,51 vs 11,11 MJ DE/kg d.m.) and different remating interval (2 or 12 days after kindling) on performance of 168 hybrid does. In the higher energetic diet were observed the best performance: higher number of weaned/year (49,5 vs 46,2), heavier doe weight at kindling and weaning. Also the doe longevity was longer (274,5 vs 228,9 d). With the shorter remating interval advantages were more evident (51,1 vs 45,6 weaned/year); however a higher percentage of does eliminated was showed (159,2 vs 143,2%). Repeatability resulted very low especially for the reproductive traits (from 5,70 to 14,34%)

Si e analizzato l'effetto del livello energetico (12,51 e 11,11 MJ ED/kg s.s.) e del ritmo riproduttivo (riaccoppiamento entro 2 d o 12 d dal parto) sulle performance di 168 coniglie ibride (Solam-Solaf). La dieta piu energetica ha fatto rilevare le migliori prestazioni: maggior numero di svezzati all'anno (49,5 vs 46,2), pesi delle fattrici superiori (accoppiamento, svezzamento) e allungamento della carriera riproduttiva (274,5 vs 228,9 d). I maggiori vantaggi si sono avuti con il ritmo intensivo, che ha consentito di ottenere un numero di svezzati/anno superiore (51,1 vs 45,6), anche se ha evidenziato una quota di riforma annua piu elevata (159,2 vs 143, 2%). La ripetibilita dei parametri ha palesato valori molto bassi per le variabili riproduttive (da 5,70 a 14,34%), piu elevati per quelle ponderali
