The study determined the efficacy of Trichoderma sp. at various inoculum density levels against Sclerotium rolfsii, the causal pathogen of damping-off in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). Percentage damping-off caused by S. rolfsii ranged from 25.33 to 86.33%. Disease control by Trichoderma sp. on the other hand, was from 25.67 to 71.00%. Trichoderma sp. thus has good potential as bio-control agent against S. rolfsii.
