The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of threshing, cleaning and drying on damage and germination capacity of bean seeds. Two cultivars were used in the trial: Igolomska and Saba. It follows from the results obtained that a significant effect on the seed damage was caused by threshing (21.0-40.0 %) and purification 6.0 to 9.0 %. The seed damage during drying was not significant (only 0.7-1.0 %). Different technological processes (threshing, cleaning, drying) affected the reduction of seed germination.
