The content of 20-hydroxyecdyzone in cultivated population of Leuzea carthamoides

The plants of L. carthamoides are morphologically variable (especially in the shape and size of leaves and width of anthodia). The 20-hydroxyecdysone content in roots of individual plants varied between 0.087 % and 0.35 %. Its content in most individuals corresponded to upper level of the range given in literature.
