German. Die Geburtsgewichte (GG), Absetzgewichte (AG), Jaehrlingsgewichte (JG) bzw. Endgewichte (EG) von 18.083 Tieren wurden einer uni- und bivariaten Schaetzung von Varianzkomponenten unterzogen. Eine Aufteilung des Datenmaterials erlaubte die Schaetzung additiv-genetischer, maternal-genetischer und permanenter Umwelteffekte sowie die Bestimmung der Kovarianz zwischen additiv-genetischen und maternal-genetischen Effekten. Die Heritabilitaet (bzw. maternale Heritabilitaet) betrug fuer GG 0.33 (0.07), fuer AG 0.35 (0.18), fuer JG 0.37 (0.11) und fuer EG 0.30. Sign. Korrelationen wurden zwischen direktem und maternal-genetischem Effekt fuer AG (-0.39) und JG (-0.22) geschaetzt.
