This book reviews much of the valuable available literature on indicators of irrigation performance, with special reference to water delivery performance. It is intended primarily as a guide to researchers, though irrigation managers will also find it useful. The main conclusions of selected authors are summarized and placed into an overall context, and the issues they raise, as well as some of the gaps, and the types of performance indicators discussed in the literature are critically discussed. It concludes with a suggested minimum set of indicators for irrigation performance assessment
