Farm forestry study tour of New Zealand
1995
Race, D. (Agriculture Victoria, Wodonga (Australia)) (ed.)
The tour aimed to explore the features of farm forestry in New Zealand, and identify the practices and support that would be useful to enhance its development in south-eastern Australia. Of particular interest were methods used by landholders to establish, manage, harvest and sell their farm timber; reasons for farm forestry being so popular among farmers and investors; how farm forestry research and extension is conducted; and the functions of the New Zealand Farm Forestry Association.
