In greenhouse experiments the tolerance of domestic breeding materials and foreign cultivars of alfalfa to Fusarium oxysporum and F. solani, causal agents of root rot has been evaluated. TR-248, Sp-Top-chor, VURV-PS-11, TR-159 and TR-160 were ranked among the most tolerance breeding materials. In the most resistant group the lowest depression of the efficiency was in breeding material TR-154. Alfalfa II, Graslands - Oranga, Varnema, Jules were most tolerant from the foreign cultivars. The five new materials and the cultivars Zuzana, Magda, Maya, Hinter River were arranged to the most sensitive genotypes of the highest yield depression per crown thickness unit.
