German. Schon seit Jahrtausenden werden im Iran Ziegen gehalten. Derzeit gibt es ca. 13.5 Millionen Tiere, mit denen 46.000 t Fleisch, 267.000 t Milch und 9.000 t Felle produziert werden. Auf die grosse Rassenvielfalt und die unterschiedlichen Haltungsformen wird eingegangen.
