The Effect of the height of embankment on mungbean. An experiment was conducted at Citayam Experimental Farm, in the dry season of 1990, using a Randomized Complete Block Design with seven replications. Mungbean variety Walet was planted in plots with different height of embankment (20, 30 and 40 cm respectively). The result showed that 40 cm embankment increased grain yield per ha, plant height, root length, plant weight, number and weight of pods per plant (20-57 percent) than the other treatments.
