Simanullang, Z.A. | Tjubaryat, T. (Balai Penelitian Tanaman Pangan Sukamandi (Indonesia))
Eleven promising upland rice lines were tested in a Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications. The lines were planted at seven locations namely Aceh, two locations in West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Lampung, Yogyakarta, and West Java to study their adaptability. Adaptability of a line was evaluated in mean and stability of yields. The yields of Seratus malam mutan, S431b-25-1 and S425b-82-1-3 were 5.48, 5.24, and 5.00 tons per hectare, respectively. Among the lines tested, S425-82-1-3 had the best adaptability to all locations.
