1986
Kelly, K.B. | Mason, W.K. (Victorian Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Kyabram (Australia). Animal and Irrigated Pastures Research Inst.)
Of 38 lines from 18 species evaluated, 6 were tested further. Data on growth rates, in vitro dry matter digestibility and N content are presented. Early establishment increased productivity by increasing autumn-winter production with only slight indications of a decline in spring growth. Spring productivity of T. resupinatum was superior to all others. Irrigation into early summer maintained the growth of T. resupinatum only.
