Investigations have been performed in the experimental field of Uzlina area in Danube Delta, regarding the application of some schemes for integrated maize pest control: Tanymecus dilaticollis Gyll. and Agriotes spp. In these framework seed dressing with Terrafuran 25 l/t, Gaucho - 14,5 kg/t, Ni25 14,5 kg/t, Force 5 - 8 l/t, Semevin 20 l/t and Seedox 80 WP - 20 l/t was used. The best results regarding pest control effectiveness, selectivity to air and soil invertebrate fauna, reduced influence on the biological balance changes and higher yield, have been obtained with Terrafuran, Gaucho, Force 5 and Semevin insecticides. The products are recommended to be included in the schemes of integrated maize pest control under the specific conditions of Danube Delta.
