Acid soils supply high aluminium quantities to plants under the conditions of a reduced content of nutritive anions. In order to test the change of fertility during the vegetation period, a synthetic index for dynamic fertility was introduced. Its expression is:Ifd=K/(N(NO3)+P(PO4)+S(SO4)) *100. Due to the fact that the components of this expression present a dynamic variation, this index may be calibrated for various nutrition stages. In the case of albic luvic soil, from Albota-Arges, at tillering stage, in wheat, this indice is (95), while at silking stage of 100. This synthetic index proposed by Albota may explain up to 80 percent from the wheat and maize yields variations obtained on the albic luvic soil. By applying this soil fertility test due to foliar diagnosis the synthetic index proposed may differentiate the genotypes to high aluminium concentrations
