English. The effect caused on a natural population of Trichoderma sp. by burying straws of barley and soybean and stalks of corn, was studied in laboratory trials. Organic matter introduced in the soil always enhanced Trichoderma sp. competitive saprophytic ability. The effect decreased with the time and was different for each of amendments used. E' stata saggiata mediante prove di laboratorio l'influenza esercitata dall'interramento di paglia di orzo, stocchi di mais e paglia di soia su una popolazione di Trichoderma sp. naturalmente presente in un terreno agrario. L'introduzione della sostanza organica ha sempre aumentato la capacita' saprofitaria di Trichoderma sp. con effetto decrescente nel tempo e diverso per ciascuno dei residui utilizzati. Tra i sottoprodotti saggiati la paglia d'orzo si e' rivelata il materiale piu' efficace
