Wheat cultivar trials were carried out by Queensland Department of Primary Industries during 1993 winter growing season. Commercial and potential wheat, durum, triticale and barley cultivars were evaluated in the quick, intermediate, midseason and long maturing wheat series and feed grain series. Due to the low number of trials in general, and the lack of testing of certain trial series in some regions, the year was very poor with regards to predictability.
